National Geographic is hand in hand with mining corporation

National Geographic is hand in hand with mining corporation to screen a film that has misleading information about environmental NGOs?
Looks like it is. See, message below....

--------------

Dear colleagues,

Mine Your Own Business, an anti-environmenal film about mining is showing tomorrow evening at National Geographic. The film was paid for
by Gabriel Resources, a Canadian mining company that is trying to
develop an open-pit gold mine in Rosia Montana, Romania.

The mine is strongly opposed in Romania, and the film has been strongly
criticized by NGOs familiar with the Rosia Montana project. The
president of the local association opposing the mine was never
interviewed by the filmmakers, but he has sent us a message to
distribute.

Please join us tomorrow outside National Geographic at 6pm to help pass
out flyers!

We'll be at the corner of 17th & M Street NW in Washington DC.
